Cannabis

Cannabis is a multipurpose plant with an enormous library of names, stories, and history. No other plant can compete with cannabis due to its long cultural history and powerful ability to move the language of culture. It has impacted societies almost everywhere.

Hemp use spans from medicine, food, fabric for sails, rope, clothing, building material and even string in bows and arrows. It has always been important economically – supplying the world with food and textile. It’s particularly brilliant because it grows using only rainwater and without any need for chemicals or tending to…just harvesting!

Origin

Hemp in clothing started in China and by the 18th century, it is estimated that 80% of the world’s population was wearing hemp clothing. But due to political reasons, the complexities of production and rise of synthetic fibers, hemp clothing didn’t last.

Times are different now. We want to weave the story of hemp back into the threads in our lives. As cotton farms are increasingly threatening to humans and the planet, we are building a new revolution for hemp in apparel and textiles. Together we can help to bring back times where we can source many of our needs in life from nature, with the hemp plant being the most adaptable and sustainable natural resource on our planet.

There is a wide range of benefits of hemp that don’t require smoking it. If used to its full potential, it can have incredible benefits for the textile industry.

Our partnerships consist of inclusive and responsible production based on the same values and principles of creating impact with purpose.

By making high-quality, durable, and unisex garments with full transparent communication, we can show the hidden value of hemp to the world.
